More info

In the cold seasons of winter this extraordinary monofloral, wild and wild honey is harvested. The bees manufacture it from the nectar of Quercus ilex, La Encina, whose fruit is the acorn. It is obtained in the spring by the beekeeper who knows where large quantities of this tree are found. Oak honey is thick and dense, with a typical wood flavor and a floral note. It has a very dark color and crystallizes after several months.

It has great benefits for health: It is very rich in trace elements, with a great tonic, strengthening for the respiratory tract. Recommended in winter and during cold seasons. Produced and harvested in small quantities, since it is very difficult to get pure oak honey (acorn). Packaged and treated in a natural way, without using chemicals or heating above 35º (natural temperature of the hive). Honey when it is collected is always in a liquid state. Naturally it critalizes after some time, if it does not heat up. If crystallized appear white stripes on the surface (especially in winter), this visual sign that shows that it is really a pure and authentic product.
